This week everyone was in and another mum called Claire joined us with her son, Blake, 7 months. Everyone worked at their own pace today experimenting with different stitches and imagery. Emma is looking at flower imagery. Lisa started working on the text of her sampler.
We discussing the final postcard- 'What advice would you give pregnant woman or new mums?' Which created really interesting discussion. People said:
- 'Don't listen to anyone else'- too much advice, everyone wants to put their thoughts in, trust your instincts
- 'Don't compare yourself to others'- every baby and mum is different
- 'Make the most of it/ enjoy every minute'- it goes so quickly!
