This week I brought in some blank canvas tote bags for the group to work on. We discussed creating designs- using the stitch sample books for inspiration and patterns and also designing our own. And we also talked through using the bags to combine a showcase of all the stitches and techniques used. The group got started choosing different fabrics to applique with and drawing out different designs.
